Youth Empowerment Organization (Y.E.O) was established in year 2015 under Societies Reg. Act-1998 with a mandate to promote skilling in the state of J&K, with generously proportioned eminence on far flung geographies of Jammu & Kashmir and an emphasis on unemployed youths of state facing migration issues owing to regional, educational and skill factors.
The organization is an indigenous entity and has grass root level understanding of challenges being faced by youth, particularly women in the UT across all districts. Y.E.O has been working with various Ministries, SSC’s, State & Central Govt establishments for minimal unemployment and to craft a skilled work force and entrepreneurs across nation . Y.E.O has a profound presence in & across North-Eastern States, HP, Delhi NCR, Maharashtra , Goa, UP, and J&K LEH/Kargil . Y.E.O has keen understanding over the challenges being confronted by the mountain states in terms of logistics, infrastructure, and issues in job accessibility as well as forward linkages of state handicrafts, ethnic and farming products.

Since its inception, the organization has been a pivot for Un-educated unemployed youth to become skilled and discover about their concealed abilities and competencies. In order to pave a way for thriving and gratifying lives of unemployed youth, YEO acts as a bridge and facilitator to cater their aspirations while skilling them in their aspired sectors through various placement linked skill development trainings.
