
Sadbhawana Program – Skill Development in Jammu & Kashmir
Youth Empowerment Organisation has been actively implementing the Sadbhawana Program across Jammu & Kashmir to equip young people with market-relevant skills and livelihood opportunities. The initiative focuses on empowering unemployed youth and marginalized communities through hands-on training, career guidance, and capacity-building workshops.
The program was carried out in collaboration with 35 RR, 42 RR, 50 RR, 9 RR, and 1 RR units of the Indian Army, reaching communities in Budgam, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla districts. This partnership helped extend skill development opportunities to remote and underserved areas, fostering employability, self-reliance, and social harmony.
Our efforts under Sadbhawana were acknowledged and praised by the Indian Army through appreciation certificates and formal recognition, reinforcing the impact of our work at the grassroots.
Through this initiative, YEO continues its mission of nurturing talent, building confidence, and creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods for the youth of the region.

NYKS Youth Engagement and Empowerment Program
Youth Empowerment Organisation, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), organized targeted Skill and Capacity Building Training programs in District Budgam. The initiative aimed at equipping local youth with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and livelihood-oriented competencies to strengthen their participation in community development and economic activities.
The training sessions provided hands-on learning, guidance from experts, and a platform for young participants to explore pathways of self-reliance and employability. By focusing on both personal growth and professional readiness, the program empowered youth to take active roles in shaping positive change within their communities.
The collaboration with NYKS amplified outreach and impact, ensuring that the training reached grassroots participants and fostered a stronger ecosystem for youth empowerment in Budgam.
1.1 Mission Fallah – Support for Tosamaidan Communities
Youth Empowerment Organisation, in partnership with the Indian Army, implemented Mission Fallah to support families affected by the Tosamaidan Firing Range. The project focused on holistic community development, addressing critical needs through education support, livelihood enhancement, and medical assistance.
By providing learning opportunities for children, vocational and income-generation options for youth and families, and healthcare outreach in underserved areas, Mission Fallah helped restore hope and strengthen resilience among affected communities.
The initiative stands as a testament to YEO’s commitment to empowering marginalized groups and building sustainable pathways for dignity, stability, and growth in challenging circumstances.
1.2 Chinar 9 Jawan Club – Youth Development Across South Kashmir
In collaboration with the Indian Army, Youth Empowerment Organisation manages and runs Chinar 9 Jawan Clubs established at Tral, Khag, Kulgam, Shopian, and Anantnag. These clubs serve as vibrant community hubs dedicated to the overall development of youth, offering opportunities for skill building, education support, career guidance, sports, and cultural activities.
By creating safe and resourceful spaces, the initiative nurtures talent, builds confidence, and steers young people towards constructive pathways of growth. The partnership between YEO and the Indian Army ensures that the clubs remain catalysts of empowerment, resilience, and community harmony across South Kashmir.

NBCFDC
Youth Empowerment Organisation partnered with the National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) to implement livelihood and skill development initiatives for underprivileged youth and marginalized communities. The project aimed at creating sustainable employment opportunities by providing training in demand-driven trades and enhancing entrepreneurial capacities.
Through this collaboration, YEO successfully mobilized and trained candidates across multiple districts of Jammu & Kashmir, with a focus on economically weaker sections. Youth Empowerment Organisation has been actively implementing programs under the National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) in Jammu & Kashmir, focusing on equipping urban youth with job-oriented skills and linking them to sustainable livelihood opportunities. The initiative is designed to reduce urban poverty by enhancing employability and supporting self-reliance among marginalized sections of society.
Through the program, YEO mobilized and trained unemployed youth across various urban clusters in the region, offering skill development courses aligned with industry demand. Alongside technical training, participants were guided in communication, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship, enabling them to explore diverse career paths.

PMKVY 2.0
Youth Empowerment Organisation successfully implemented Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) with the objective of equipping unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills and creating direct pathways to employment. As India’s flagship skill development program, PMKVY 2.0 emphasized short-term training in demand-driven sectors to enhance employability and self-reliance.
Under this project, YEO mobilized and trained candidates across various trades, including IT, electronics, hospitality, retail, and tailoring. The training modules were designed to meet sector-specific requirements while also covering essential soft skills, digital literacy, and workplace readiness.
The program enabled several beneficiaries to secure employment in organized sectors, while others chose to pursue self-employment opportunities. Certification under PMKVY 2.0 further added credibility to their skill sets, making them competitive in the job market.

NSKFDC-1
Youth Empowerment Organisation partnered with the National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) to implement the NSKFDC-1 Project, focusing on empowering members of the Safai Karamchari community and other marginalized groups through skill development and livelihood promotion. The initiative was designed to uplift disadvantaged sections by providing them with training that leads to sustainable employment and self-reliance.
Through this project, YEO mobilized candidates from economically weaker backgrounds and trained them in trades aligned with both local demand and industry requirements. Alongside technical training, beneficiaries received guidance in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and personal development to broaden their livelihood options.

Youth Empowerment Organisation partnered with Samagra Shiksha, Delhi to implement Self Defence Training programs aimed at empowering students and youth with essential safety skills and confidence-building techniques. The initiative focused on equipping participants with practical self-protection strategies while promoting awareness about personal safety and security.
