Sadbhawana Program – Skill Development in Jammu & Kashmir

Youth Empowerment Organisation has been actively implementing the Sadbhawana Program across Jammu & Kashmir to equip young people with market-relevant skills and livelihood opportunities. The initiative focuses on empowering unemployed youth and marginalized communities through hands-on training, career guidance, and capacity-building workshops. The program was carried out in collaboration with 35 RR, 42 RR, 50 RR, 9 RR, and 1 RR units of the Indian Army, reaching communities in Budgam, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla districts. This partnership helped extend skill development opportunities to remote and underserved areas, fostering employability, self-reliance, and social harmony. Our efforts under Sadbhawana were acknowledged and praised by the Indian Army through appreciation certificates and formal recognition, reinforcing the impact of our work at the grassroots. Through this initiative, YEO continues its mission of nurturing talent, building confidence, and creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods for the youth of the region.

1.1 Mission Fallah – Support for Tosamaidan Communities

Youth Empowerment Organisation, in partnership with the Indian Army, implemented Mission Fallah to support families affected by the Tosamaidan Firing Range. The project focused on holistic community development, addressing critical needs through education support, livelihood enhancement, and medical assistance.

By providing learning opportunities for children, vocational and income-generation options for youth and families, and healthcare outreach in underserved areas, Mission Fallah helped restore hope and strengthen resilience among affected communities.

The initiative stands as a testament to YEO’s commitment to empowering marginalized groups and building sustainable pathways for dignity, stability, and growth in challenging circumstances.

1.2 Chinar 9 Jawan Club – Youth Development Across South Kashmir

In collaboration with the Indian Army, Youth Empowerment Organisation manages and runs Chinar 9 Jawan Clubs established at Tral, Khag, Kulgam, Shopian, and Anantnag. These clubs serve as vibrant community hubs dedicated to the overall development of youth, offering opportunities for skill building, education support, career guidance, sports, and cultural activities.

By creating safe and resourceful spaces, the initiative nurtures talent, builds confidence, and steers young people towards constructive pathways of growth. The partnership between YEO and the Indian Army ensures that the clubs remain catalysts of empowerment, resilience, and community harmony across South Kashmir.
